The churches of St Mark and St Philip are deeply embedded in the life of local communities. Both St Philip's Church Hall & St Mark's Community Centre endeavour to respond to the needs of our local community and beyond.

Our churches have been at the centre of community life since they were built, providing a focal point at key moments throughout the lives of those who live and work in this busy urban environment. Our community ethos, however, is firmly people based and inclusive. People are far more important to us than how they conduct themselves in worship.

Our worship endeavours to provide us with strength and engages all of our senses in sacramental celebration of the mystery of God. St Philip and St Mark are devoted to a rich liturgical and musical tradition where faith and friendship are shared through a variety of worship experiences
 and service opportunities.

If this is your first visit to our website, we invite you to join us in worship at our services and fellowship at our social events.

You will be assured of a warm welcome.

The parish of St Philip, Chaddesden is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
